Made up by ten comfortable rooms with different characteristics but same quality standard, La Miniera Fiorita was renovated from an old mining building. The cottage is located in a cozy place surrounded by the wonderful Montevecchio forest. It is the ideal starting place to discover the particular and mysterious mining village surmounted by  Mount Arcuentu, known by the locals as Napoleon's face because of its shape, which watches silently everyone and everything. Our Guest House in Montevecchio is located a few kilometres from the wild and unspoilt Costa Verde, as are known the shores of Arbus, with its clear blue sea that overlooks one of the biggest deserts in Europe: Dunes of Piscinas. 

Next to La Miniera Fiorita, there is a marked Hiking Path, 192 , which starts in Sa Tanca.This Hiking Path  is a medium difficulty route long about 7 kilometres.  Our partners will offer Tours of the Mines and  visits to "la Casa della Direzione", the House of Mine Managers,  the Museum of Dioramas, The Exhibition of Minerals and the Sanna Castoldi's Collection.
